Reflection 8
Stephan Sigg • Chicago 2013
1. What would you say is the difference between having the truth and having faith? Can the two be mutually exclusive? Does 1 Corinthians 13 have any light to shed on this subject?
2. Jesus praised the faith of a Roman soldier as a faith he had not found in Israel. Have you had similar experiences where faith showed up in the most unlikely of places or candidates?
3. How does the humanity of Jesus either support or hinder your faith? What relevance does the humanity of “the carpenter” have for individuals living today?
4. In what ways are our own lives unexpected places to find faith and redemption? How should this change the ways we interact with the world around us?
