Reflection 13
Dilys Brooks • The Sermon
When it comes to “asking, seeking, and knocking,” Dilys states that in our prayer life we run the risk of desiring the “things” that God can give us more than we desire God. Why do you think we do this?
Dilys says that we do not truly search for God because we do not fully trust Him— and we do not fully trust Him because we have a warped understanding of God, or because of fear. What holds you back from fully trusting God? What are some of the fears you have that prevent you putting your trust wholly in God?
