Michaela invites us to, “imagine what would happen if a group of Jesus’ disciples decided to stop using themselves as a standard against which everyone else is measured.” How would this world be different if this occurred? How would your local community be different?

Michaela points out that in this passage on judgment, Jesus tells us not to do something that we think we can do—judge others—then gives us an alternative action that we cannot do—fix ourselves. What situations or issues are you most likely to cast your own judgment or standard on others? What is the danger in this?
